Czech Delegation visits SICCI’s National Food Conclave

The visiting Czech Delegation visited SICCI’s (Southern India Chamber Of Commerce and Industry) National Food Conclave & Expo 2021 on Friday October 22nd, 2021.

The focus of the Conclave & Expo is to bring the eco-system surrounding the Food Processing Sector together, introducing best practices, healthy options and showcasing opportunities. This Conclave & Expo is partnered with the Government of India’s Ministry of Food Processing, FSSAI (Food Safety & Standards Association of India) & NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development) and is planned to be held annually. The event presents an active engagement opportunity for Czech companies interested to extend their products & services into the Tamil Nadu & Puducherry markets.

Mr. Ar Rm Arun, Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Chennai & President, SICCI and Mr. Vinod Solomon, Secretary, SICCI, showed the Delegation around the Expo. The Delegation got to know about local healthy food options, while also getting to sample products. The Delegation also enjoyed live Bharatanatyam performances performed by the Students of the Tamil Isai Kalloori.
